| SUBMISSION GUIDELINES | |
| Gallery 435 invites you to submit work for future shows. Artists already on our mailing list will be notified directly that we are open for submissions. The website and email are our main channels of communication as the gallery uses temporary locations. We strongly suggest you join our mailing list. Please read the following guidelines: 1. Gallery 435 is a contemporary art gallery. We are looking for work that is innovative and thought-provoking. We suggest artists visit our exhibitions to get a feel for the type of shows we want to create. 2. We are looking for a coherent body of work exploring specific themes or styles that will provide interest to the public. We will not be exhibiting general portfolio displays of work. |

| 3. We will accept submissions from a single artist or a group of artists as long as the work remains within a defined context. 4. The solo artist or group of artists chosen should have enough work to fill 4000 sq ft of space. 5. Submissions should take the form of up to 6 jpeg images, maximum 200k. 6. Images should be sent to zoe.hatch@gmail.com along with a short precis of the themes of the work and general overview of your thoughts about its appeal to the public. 7. We are not a commercial gallery and our focus is on showcasing work rather than promoting the sale of art on display. However work is often sold during our exhibitions and the gallery takes a small commission on all sales. 8. The costs of putting on the exhibitions are borne by the Gallery. We will not be charging artists to exhibit in our space. 9. Our choice is based purely on content and merit. |
